I love this compilation of the city logos from around the world. Once all of them are put together, it almost looks like the same designer created each one. Similar brush strokes, palettes, symbols. I have always loved the Bahamas logo, which I see frequently in advertisements. Big fan of Italy's and Vietnam's as well.

Columbia's looks like the logo for a heart clinic at a hospital to me.

ReplyDeleteThey had these great ads that ran on NYC subways in the dead of winter with such slogans as "Wake up and smell the conch fritters."

I think their logo helped decide my winter trip last year...
I like Mexico's; the UK's looks like they had some 5th grade contest winner do theirs; France's looks like it belongs on a packet of gum; I like Spain's Miro approach.
