Love Chip Kid's book covers and love his picks of favorite book covers. (Except I disagree with his pick of A Heartbreaking Tale of A Staggering Genius...or maybe i don't like it because I don't like the book. hmm)

You know, I was disappointed by his picks. I think you chose the image of the coolest one... but most of them were pretty safe.
Agreed about Eggers...
Really? The Dave Eggers cover? Ick! However, I agree with a lot of his other selections. I've always loved the Million Little Pieces cover...
i'll be honest, i think most of his picks are really... just ok -- like _million little pieces_ and _everything is illuminated_ are pretty brilliant, but like, is he shocking anyone by picking _curious incident_? these are the kinds of covers that are... good, but not innovative enough. honestly, way too safe. i expected more from someone with whom most in-the-know designers (aka my roommates) are obsessed.
