Teach Design

I love this idea! A group of Austin designers from Frog Design have joined forces to bring design to the high school level in a program called "TeachDesign." I had amazing art classes throughout high school, but never any "real" design courses. So I'm crazy jealous, and super stoked to see these designers recognizing the importance and benefit of teaching design earlier than the college level. I fell in love with Austin during our official Crew Reunion this past summer and now I have yet another reason to envy Miss Martin for living in such a rockin' city. But really, I hope that this inspires other designers and high school students to join forces in cities across the country. ••••
