In honor of the upcoming holiday, I wanted to post about the cute and cleverly marketing Valentine typewriter, released by Olivetti released in 1969. Designed by Ettore Sottsass, this portable piece of equipment was touted as the "anti-machine machine" for use "anywhere but an office." Definitely better suited for composing poetry in the park, or perhaps at a Parisian cafe.
Gentlemen, for the record I would gladly accept this Valentine over chocolate or flowers any day— get it here for the bargain price of $795. ••••
