I recently came across the work of Dutch designer Pieke Bergmans, and was very impressed and amused by what I saw. Much of her work centers around a hypothetical attack of the "design virus" which distorts everyday objects in unexpected ways. Unquestionably my favorite "victims" are Bergman's light blubs. How incredible would it be to own one of these lamps in your home?
