When I was in 5th grade my school tested my eyesight and hearing in a routine check up. They came to the conclusion that I was in dire need of glasses. I guess it wasn't normal for far away objects to be blurry. Made perfect sense to me... (yikes). My first pair of glasses filled my entire face. (Thanks, Mom.) Due to the trauma of this unfortunate time in my life, I opt for contacts now. Which is somewhat surprising since glasses are a key accessory item...and I love a good accessory. In fact, many people are identified by their choice of glasses, as seen in these clever posters:
